🦁 Cz Omega Trigger Vs Standard
Also look up notorious NYPD triggers. Omega triggers are a sacrifice CZ made to allow conversion between decocker/safety. They are just more sloppy / less accurate compared to traditional DA/SA with safety. Just try CZ 75 non-omega and P-09/P-07 in store - you will be able to tell a difference.

Two very smooth shooting, absolutely trustworthy, go to war guns. The CZs are the same at a fraction of the cost. That said, I just like my CZs a little better. Both have ok triggers out of the box. I put the short reset in the Sigs and it made the triggers tolerable. I put short reach and short reset triggers in my CZs and they are pretty
The poly framed CZ P-series pistols that also use the Omega system make more sense to me in that other than the CZ Phantom there are no poly framed hammer fired CZ pistols with the classic trigger system. I prefer the Trigger Bar, Disconector and safety lever design of the classic trigger system.
The new CZ Shadow 2 Compact is smaller and lighter, only 7.5 inches long and, at 30 ounces, weighing nearly 1 pound less, creating a lighter handling pistol with all the accuracy of its larger
ok, took the CZ Omega to the club, shot a total of 100 rounds, all new ammo, Federal 115 gr, and S&B 115 gr. the CZ shoots like a CZ, and i gotta tell you, that is a sweet trigger outta the box. after i got it home and field stripped it, i removed the decocker levers, and replaced them with the ordinary safety ones.
The omega trigger is better out of the box but can’t be tuned as well as the standard trigger. Omega is also a lot easier to work on. I doubt it makes a noticeable difference in reliability. If you don’t like to modify your guns, omega is the right choice. If you do like to tinker/mod then the standard would be a better choice
The safety is intended to avoid double action pulls. Note that the safety model will only allow you to put it on safe when the hammer is cocked, and decocking a safety model is dicey business (hold on TIGHT to the hammer and pull the trigger ). The safety models will have a better trigger pull than a decocker model.
Packages. We offer two in-shop packages. Our pro-package is the most common option, which will give you trigger pulls that are lighter, shorter, and crisper. We also offer a single-action-only package for safety models that allows you to use a flat trigger. These packages include our gunsmiths disassembling the firearm and polishing the lock work.
CZ P01 vs CZ P01 Omega Trigger. Trying to decide between CZ P01 and CZ P01 Omega. The P01 seems to have a recurve trigger. I used to get trigger bite from the recurve trigger on my Rami until I swapped it out with CGW old style trigger. Both guns are available at the same price. Also, I have a CZ 75B Omega stock and the trigger is fine.
The most common issues with the CZ P-01 Omega gun are decocker walking issues, slide issues, trigger issues, and failure to feed. I will explain the reasons and solutions to these problems in this article. Let’s move on to the detailed part. Features & Specifications of CZ P-01 Omega. Height x Width x Length: 135x38x184 mm.
r/CZFirearms • 3 yr. ago sidpost What is the difference between the Omega trigger versus the 'standard' trigger? I'm pretty new to CZ centerfire pistols and I'm seeing a lot of OMEGA trigger pistols. What is different with the OMEGA versus a more traditional trigger? Is it smoother, lighter, better, etc? TIA, Sid 3 Sort by:
